Cancellation policy
Purchase Options, Pre-Orders and Subscription Cancellation Policy
This policy explains the terms that apply where we offer products as subscriptions, pre-orders, deposits and payment plans.
This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions of Sale and Website Use and should be read alongside our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy.
The legal seller for your order will be the relevant Inky Dinky company identified at checkout and in your order confirmation.
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory consumer rights that apply in your country, state or place of residence.
1. Subscriptions and Repeat Deliveries
Where a product or service is offered as a subscription, you will receive repeat deliveries or access at the frequency selected by you at checkout.
Before you complete your purchase, we will make clear:
- the product or service included in the subscription;
- the price of each payment;
- the delivery or billing frequency;
- whether the subscription renews automatically;
- the date of the first payment and, where applicable, the next renewal date; and
- how you can cancel or manage your subscription.
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, your subscription will continue automatically until you cancel it.
You authorise us, or our payment provider, to charge the payment method used at checkout for each scheduled subscription payment. Your payment information may be securely stored or tokenised by our payment provider to allow authorised recurring payments to be processed.
2. Cancelling or Changing a Subscription
You may cancel your subscription online through the subscription-management link included in your order confirmation emails, or through your customer account where this option is available.
Cancellation will stop future renewals and future subscription charges. To avoid the next scheduled payment or delivery, you must cancel before that order has been processed.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically cancel, refund or stop an order that has already been processed, charged or dispatched. However, you may still have cancellation, return or refund rights under our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy and under applicable law.
Where available, you may also be able to pause, skip, amend or update your subscription through the subscription-management link or customer account. Any changes will apply only to future orders that have not yet been processed.
We may send subscription reminders, renewal notices or payment reminders where required by applicable law or where we consider this helpful.
3. Subscription Price Changes
We may occasionally need to change the price of a subscription.
Where this happens, we will give you reasonable advance notice by email before the new price takes effect. The notice will explain the new price, the date from which it applies and how to cancel before the next charge if you do not wish to continue.
If you cancel before the new price takes effect, no future payments will be taken after cancellation.
4. Pre-Orders
A pre-order is an order for a product that is not currently available for immediate dispatch but is expected to become available in the future.
The relevant product page and checkout will make clear, where applicable:
- that the product is a pre-order;
- the estimated dispatch or availability date;
- whether payment is taken in full at checkout, whether a deposit is required, or whether payment will be collected later;
- the amount of any deposit or future balance payment; and
- any important information about expected production, stock arrival or delivery times.
Estimated dispatch dates are estimates only and may change due to production, shipping, customs, supplier or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where there is a significant delay, we will contact you using the email address supplied with your order.
5. Cancelling a Pre-Order
You may request cancellation of a pre-order before it has been dispatched by contacting us at enquiries@inkydinkysaddles.com.
Where a pre-order has been paid in full or partly paid, we will refund any amount due in accordance with applicable law and our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy.
Once a pre-order has been dispatched, it cannot usually be stopped in transit. However, you may still return the item or exercise any applicable cancellation rights in accordance with our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy.
Where a product has been made specifically to your requirements or is clearly personalised, different cancellation rights may apply. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
6. Future Charges for Pre-Orders
Where a pre-order involves a deposit or payment to be collected at a later date, the product page and checkout will explain the amount due and when payment will be collected.
By placing the pre-order, you authorise us or our payment provider to collect the remaining balance from your chosen payment method on or around the stated date.
Where required by applicable law, or where reasonably practical, we will notify you before collecting a future balance payment.
If we cannot collect the outstanding balance, we may contact you to request an alternative payment method. If payment is not received within a reasonable period, we may cancel the order and refund any amount due to you.
7. Returns and Refunds
Returns, refunds, exchanges and statutory cancellation rights are governed by our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy.
For customers in the United Kingdom and European Union, online purchases will usually include a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving goods, subject to any lawful exceptions.
